What could be the proper assessment tool towards students’ self learning?
By writing journals, each student can have a record of their different pace of learning and the teacher can refer that as an assessment tool to check students’ learning
How often should the teacher evaluate students’ learning
The evaluation could be held every after the meeting/session or it can always be modified based on the different situation/environment that permits.
How will the students know if they are learning the important concepts (gist)?
The good way for students to learn the important concept is to guide students in different ways such as providing guide questions for the required task/activity.
How can we draw out students’ insights toward their learning?
There might be many creative ways for the instructor to draw out students’ insight but the most common way is to ask students to share and present their work, reflections and realizations that they have accomplished throughout the activity/project.
What could be the appropriate activities for students to learn what is important?
The activities that requires students’ thinking such as brainstorming and discussion among their group mates would be some of the activities that can be used in the classroom in order to know that students are learning what is important.
